My first day of school went well. I'm in the 8th grade now. Now, I'll tell you what happened.
I went to my first class, which was STEM. If you don't know what STEM is, it's Science Technology Engineering Mathematics.
After we went in the class, he gave us a worksheet that asks questions about us. He then talked about class rules, procedures, etc. After the bell rang we all went to our second class. I went to my English class.
When we entered the room, our teacher told us to pick an item on the shelf that represents us. I chose a soft rubber pokeball. She then introduced herself to us and talked about class rules. After, we each got a turn to explain why the item represents us. The pokeball represented me because I like Pokemon and video games. After that, she gave us a worksheet activity that has stuff like what our favorite stuff are, etc. The bell rang, so I left to go to my third class, which was History.
History class was kinda boring. The teacher just went over things like rules, etc. nothing interesting. The bell rang, and I went to my fourth class, which is my favorite subject, ART!
I'm so happy that I have the same art teacher like last year. He also has a DeviantART account, but he doesn't get on it much,
For today, he told us to draw from observation. I drew and colored a white paint bottle. When I get it back I'll upload it. I also have lunch with my art class everyday. Today I packed 2 slices of homemade pizza, two homemade cookies, and some milk.
After that the bell rang and I went to my fifth class, which was math class. The teacher was just going over things, etc. She then showed us a painting with birds perching on branches with leaves blowing. She then told us to write sentences responding to some questions about it and to write about ourselves. After that the bell rang, and I went to my sixth class, which was science.
We entered the class and got a worksheet that asks questions about us. After we answered them, we each told the class about ourselves. The teacher then told about himself. The bell rang and I went to my seventh class which was the one I was most excited about. It was chorus class.
I entered the class, we sat in our seats, and our teacher told us about chorus class and what were gonna be doing this year. Also, this is my first time being in chorus, so if any of you guys ever went to chorus, can you give me some tips that might help me?
She talked about future concerts and contests that will happen. My first concert will start on October third. I can't wait.
So yeah. That's it. I hope my last year in Middle school will go great this year. How was your first day of school?
